Student Code of Conduct

We believe that creating a positive and respectful learning environment is essential for everyone's success. By participating in our coding courses, you agree to abide by the following code of conduct:

1. Respectful Behavior: Treat all participants, instructors, volunteers, and staff with respect and kindness. Use polite language and considerate behavior in all interactions.

2. Active Participation: Engage actively in class discussions, activities, and assignments. Participate to the best of your ability, and ask questions when you need clarification.

3. Collaboration: Foster a collaborative atmosphere by supporting your fellow participants. Share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and assist others when they need help.

4. Safety First: Prioritize online safety. Do not share personal information, passwords, or contact details with anyone during the course. Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to the instructors immediately.

5. Positive Communication: Use positive and encouraging language when communicating with others. Avoid using offensive, disrespectful, or hurtful words.

6. Focus on Learning: Use technology and devices for learning purposes only during class time. Minimize distractions and give your full attention to the lessons and discussions.

7. Honesty and Integrity: Complete your assignments and projects honestly, without plagiarizing or copying from others. If you use external resources, give proper credit. Do not be afraid to ask for help!

8. Punctuality: Attend scheduled virtual meetings on time. If you cannot attend, notify the instructors if possible.

9. Diversity and Inclusion: Embrace diversity and treat everyone equally, regardless of race, gender, background, or abilities. Be inclusive and open-minded in your interactions.

10. Consequences of Misconduct: Violating this code of conduct may result in consequences, such as temporary suspension or removal from the course. Instructors will address violations on a case-by-case basis.

By participating in our online coding courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Student Code of Conduct. We look forward to creating a supportive and enriching learning experience together.

Parental Consent and Participation Agreement

I, [Parent/Guardian], hereby grant permission for my child to participate in the coding courses offered by Staff Code. I understand that these courses are designed to introduce and educate children in the field of coding.

I am aware that Staff Code will make efforts to (but do NOT guarantee) a safe and secure online environment for all participants. This includes employing appropriate online communication platforms, implementing measures to protect personal information, and adhering to best practices for online child safety. I understand that my child's participation may involve interaction with other participants, instructors, or volunteers in a classroom setting.

I agree to encourage my child to actively participate, complete assignments, and adhere to the code of conduct set forth by Staff Code. I understand that while Staff Code aims to provide quality education, they do not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from these courses. I also acknowledge that I, as the parent or legal guardian, am responsible for providing the necessary technology, internet access, and support required for my child to engage in the classes.

I hereby release Staff Code, its instructors, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability arising from my child's participation in these coding courses. I understand that Staff Code will handle any concerns or issues in a timely and responsible manner. By signing this document, I affirm that I have read and understood the terms of participation, and I consent to my child's involvement in the coding courses provided by Staff Code.

I acknowledge that participation in Staff Code's programs is subject to adherence to its code of conduct and policies. I understand that the organization reserves the right to terminate the participation of any student, at its discretion, if their actions are deemed inappropriate or violate the organization's guidelines. By signing this agreement, I agree to abide by the organization's rules and accept any consequences for non-compliance.
